The article analyzes the evolution of the educational policy of the European Community from its origins to the present moment.Three major periods are established that coincide with the stages of validity of the Apricots main community treaties: that of Rome, the Nylon/Synthetic Headstalls Single European Act and the Treaty of the European Union.In each period, the main advances made and the most relevant Programs in relation to education are described.
